Bring Nature to Your Garden

Attracting wildlife to your garden can help the local wildlife and can also bring a beautiful view to your garden. Here we will tell you about several plants that will do just the trick!

Flowers play a critical role in our ecosystem. They look so beautiful for a reason, it is to attract pollinators. A Pollinator is an animal that causes plants to make fruits or seeds by moving pollen from one flower to another. This fertilizes the plants. Without pollinators, the plants cannot reproduce.

Do you have a preference for coffee or tea? Like humans do, certain animals find certain flowers more attractive.

Some examples include:

  • Daisy - Prime bee and butterfly attractor

  • Marigolds - Flies, Moths and Butterflies. (Also comes with the added bonus of improving soil health and possibly deterring Deer)

  • Snapdragons - Wonderful for bumblebees

It is also important to consider making your backyard a refuge for wildlife. Inserting a hummingbird feeder, a water source, and lots of vegetation to provide covers and nesting opportunity can help to attract wildlife to your yard as well.

Good Luck!
