How To Order

We know that things are a little different since COVID19 has entered our lives. We are hoping that by increasing our online presence, we can help our customers to see what we have available this year. This is a new technological endeavor for us and we greatly appreciate all of your patience and support! We encourage you to come into the greenhouse as we are open for in-store shopping. If you would prefer some extra help with your order, please give us a call or send us an email.

We will begin accepting orders online on the first official opening day of the season. Outside of seasonal hours when our business is closed (July to April), responses to emails can be delayed. If you have not received a response, please give us a call. To make an order, simply:

  1. Browse through our online Products Page

  2. Write down the names and quantities of the plants you would like to order

  3. Send us an email to dalrymplesgreenhouse.com with the list of plants you would like or give us a call at 204-867-3317. Orders must be picked up within 48 hours of confirming your order.

  4. We will let you know that we have received your order, review it, and will then call you to confirm all of the items on your order and price. At this time, we can answer any questions you may have about specific planting information. We will also be accepting payment over the phone by MasterCard or E-Transfer, or Cheque, Debit, and Cash upon pick up.

  5. Once your order is confirmed, we will set a pickup or drop-off window that works best for you within the next 48 hours.

  6. Success!

Asking Us To Hold Your Order Longer? Please Read This First.

We understand that it can be difficult to look after your plants until mother nature decides that we can begin planting them in our flower beds. We also have to be fair to all of our customers. We can not hold onto orders for extended periods of time. Holding onto orders can become a little confusing for all those involved. Things can change drastically from the time an order was placed to the time it is picked up and we are not set up to hold onto orders at this time.

There are a couple of reasons for this:

  1. We avoid using growth regulators at the greenhouse and instead stagger our planting time so different plants are ready to sell at different times. We may start a batch of Petunias in the first week of February and another in the second week, and so on. This means that plants are best when selected closer to the date of pick up.

  2. If your order contains tall plants and shorter ones, when we group them together, the shorter plants may stretch beside the tall ones and no longer look their best.

Please know that you can make more than one order if you are worried about an item selling out before the warmer weather arrives. Thank you so much for understanding.
